Down by the River Side - Second Class Trip

Second Class took a walking tour down to the river. We put on our wellies, packed our bags, threw our nets and rods over our shoulders and off we went.

We stopped at the main road to look for different shapes. We also stopped at the church and the old school to study the building.

Once we got to the river we took time to look at the trees, plants, animals and birds that were all around the river. We had a picnic by the banks of the river. We came home with some soggy wellies but with big smiles!!!
