Engineering Week-STEM Collaboration and team work challenge
20th Jun 2023
Today Junior Infants had super fun engaging in a STEM challenge. The class divided into four groups, yellow, green, purple and orange. Each group was assigned a plate full of cheerios and a spaghetti strand. They had to work co-operatively and skewer as many cheerios as they could on the spaghetti strand, then one member of the group had to carefully move the skewer to the bench and skewer the cheerios again into a playdoh pot.The winner was the group with the most cheerios. The time challenge was two minutes. From our photos it can be seen each group worked super well as a team.
