The Three Billy Goats
We read the story of the Three Billy Goats. It is Andrew's favourite story. We decided after reading the story to help the goats to cross the river so they didn't have to use the bridge. A Troll lived under the bridge and he wanted to eat the three goats.
Challenge
Make a structure to take the goats from one side of the river to the other.
Investigation
We made rafts, catapults and used different containers to help get the goats to cross the river. We tested each structure.
Findings
We found some materials worked better than others. We also found that we needed stronger glue and more time for the glue to dry.
It was fun!
