Children from first to sixth class inclusive were given the fantastic opportunity to explore the LEGO WeDo 2.O programming kits led by Ms. Hefferon.
LEGO WeDo 2.0 is a hands-on robotics based system of learning. It is designed to spark primary school children's interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (S.T.E.M.). The children assembled a variety of LEGO models and developed their programming skills. Opportunities were given to the children to collaborate and discuss their ideas in small groups. By participating in S.T.E.M. activities scientists, engineers and mathematicians of the future are nurtured.
