Peer Teaching in Maths
As part of Maths Week, 6th class pupils became Maths teachers!
The pupils from 6th class planned, designed and implemented a Maths lesson for senior infant students. 6th class had to research the senior infant curriculum to gain understanding of what Maths topics are covered in senior infants. They then created lessons covering the topics of number, addition, shapes, and colour.
6th class were all fantastic teachers and ensured each senior infant understood the task. Senior infants were also the perfect students, as all of them displayed super Maths knowledge and they reported back to 6th class that they didn't want the Maths lesson to end.
Well done rang a sé agus naíonáin shinsearacha!
