Playful maths

This week we are learning all about 3d shapes, we used concrete materials to examine how many edges, corners and faces each shape had and whether or not it could roll. We used our 3 d shape maths kits to make 3d shapes. One child even managed to make dodecahedron - A 12 sided 3d shape!
