Science Week
9th Nov 2021
Today, as part of Science Week, we made oobleck.
Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid that can act as both a solid or a liquid. It is made by mixing cornstarch, food colouring and water together. The word 'oobleck' was made famous by the Dr. Seuss book "Bartholemew and the Oobleck".
As we are getting ready for the county final this weekend, we made Inagh-Kilnamona coloured oobleck using green and yellow food colouring. It is a festival of Science and hurling in our classroom this week!!
