World Nursery Rhyme Week
This week was World Nursery Rhyme week. We have learned a lot of nursery rhymes since September. To mark this week, here are some audios of Junior Infants saying their nursery rhymes. Nursery rhymes are very important as they help children learn about words, sounds and language formation. Hearing and using rhyme, rhythm and the repetition of these rhymes help children develop early literacy skills.
